Meeting with Paolo Cervi Kervischer at the studio

Visit the home studio of Paolo Cervi Kervischer, one of the most original artists in today's cultural scene, to discover one of the many souls of Trieste today while sipping an aperitif with him.

With a degree in painting earned with Emilio Vedova at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Paolo Cervi Kervischer has been active since the ’80s with personal works and installations both in Italy and abroad (Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, Hungary and Bosnia). You may have had one of his Illy Collection cups (Toon Gee – 1992) or Basket Playground (special series 1996) in your hands.

Finally, many of his paintings appear in the famous TV series “La Porta Rossa”. If you appreciated the evocative and mysterious atmospheres of the series, at his studio you can recognize some similar paintings and get to know the artist.

Talking to an artist, hearing about his works and sipping an aperitif with him while he introduces you to the soul of the city is a truly unique experience.

Giacomo, Nora, Stanislaus, Eileen, Sinico: every room is a small studio with a kitchenette and relates to the writings of Joyce when he lived in Trieste
