Discover our city through the history of its pastry-making tradition: a gastronomic journey through the most typical sweets of the city that will show you the multiculturalism of central-European Trieste.

An experience exclusively dedicated to our guests in our common room, where the eclectic and volcanic Maurizio Stagni, an artist passionate about cooking and especially about Trieste, will reveal to you our city layer by layer while you taste a selection of traditional sweets from one of the best pastry shops in Trieste, along with tea or coffee.

Presnitz, Favette Triestine, torta Rigojanci and torta Dobos will be a pleasant and sweet surprise to retrace the history and traditions of Trieste in an unusual, delightful and fun way.

Le 6 A – B&B rooms

Every room has a woman’s name starting with A: Annetta, Amalia, Angiolina, Ada, Alberta e Augusta. They are the names of the female characters of the famous writer from Trieste Italo Svevo.

La Settima A - studios with kitchenette

Anna Livia, our seventh A, is the protagonist of an episode of Finnegans Wake. Joyce took inspiration from Livia Veneziani, the wife of Italo Svevo. Giacomo, Nora, Stanislaus, Eileen, Sinico: every room is a small studio with a kitchenette and relates to the writings of Joyce when he lived in Trieste
